Finally was out breathing some "fresh air" aft many days of confinement at home, due to my flu. Hee Hee. Went out to buy my favourite Mango & Blueberry Cakes and some stationery for my Mum. Looking @ the bright sun (& weather) outside, I'rm glad Spore is located near the equator. Comparing with the weather disaster currently attackin Taiwan, fortunate pple like us better stop complainin abt Spore being so hot being humid or wadsoever SxxT.Can u imagine everywhere (even roads) is flooded up to ur waist (height) and everything in ur hse is submerged in water? Or 1 day when u wake up & found dat ur beloved car/bike was washed away into the canal with the raging water coming from all directions? And worst, ur fruit/vegetable farm has became a waste land aft the flood picked up with it all ur fruits of labours? Even if its raining season, how high can the rainwater in Spore reached? So, wads the fxxk with being HOT here? !! My frens who'll b shocked reading this, I'm not pissed off. Ha. I jus write down how I felt, aft watching day aft day news of probs Taiwan commoners faced when 2 typhoons hit them consecutively within a mth.
N I found this (Left) when I passed by a famous shopping mall in the afternoon. All I wanna say is these bins shld b as common as possible. So far I've only seen 3 different types of recycle bins here. Or is there more? I'm not sure but if there is, pls let me know. Thnks.
The 2 recycle bins (Right) r very common in Taiwan MRT Stations while the other 5 (Bottom) r found in their National Zoo, whereby plenty of Pri & Sec Sch students will b visiting. I take my hat off Taiwan's effort in this area, cuz I did saw a Pri Kid throwin his rubbish into the correct bin. There's a few incidents when me as an adult had to stop & tink which bin shld my rubbish land in. So ashamed & stressed.
In Taiwan, every "throw rubbish" experience is a valuable lesson to me. Like my couz said, Taiwanese used RECYCLE BINS more than normal ones but its vice versa here in Spore (some of us even misuse them). 也順便告訴大家，現在的潮流是＂節約．減碳．抗通膨＂，所以其他沒有用的雜七雜八，就滾吧～
