Its a pleasure to be able to admire this beautiful bridge in the night. Dat night when my couz & I were there, surprisingly there wasnt much pple (mayb becuz its a wkday). The refreshing breeze and romantic colour of the environment did made me regret (only once) dat the person next to me is not a guy. Haha. (P.S. This bridge is famous partly becuz a no. of Idol Drama of Taiwan took their shots frm here). If anyone's gng to Taiwan for a trip, this place is a MUST to visit.
The 2 most impressive issues I've came across during this Taiwan Trip is their effort in promoting 環保意識 & Convenience of 捷運 (Mrt). Just alone in public rubbish bin, I've came across more than 3-4 different types. Amazing!! Like my Couz commented, Taiwan pple r using 環保垃圾桶 more than the normal rubbish bins. Just go imagine urself the scenario. And for their Mrt, do you know dat : -
There's a Waiting Zone for Female Passengers travelling late in the night (with Blue Lines differentiating the zone & cameras to monitor the area)
Bicycles r allowed to enter the Mrt cabins during holidays if a fee is paid (to promote hiking & outdoor activities)
Locals hav the common understanding not to occupy the Priority Seats (for elderly, children & pregnant mothers) in the Mrt, even when seats r unavailable
If I hadnt been there, I wldnt hav know all these. Which is why I felt dat we over here shld learn frm them these issues dats so close & related to our daily lives. Believe it or, I'll carry on the gd habits which I picked up frm there. =)
